From the very beginning, it was evident how relaxed the day would be. A big part of that was the fact that the wedding party only consisted of a best man and a maid of honour. We did some detail shots, had some sandwiches(which Rebecca’s mom insisted we eat), and took off for the first look.
I love the idea of a first look, but Ryan and Rebecca brought that love to a whole other level. My last words of advice before their first look was “we are going to have cameras in your face all day, but forget about that, and just enjoy this moment together”... and that is exactly what happened. They shared an incredible few minutes of intimacy, and totally got lost in the moment and in each other!
The first look set the tone for the rest of the day. As they tied the knot and shared beautiful family speeches, one thing was particularly evident, that a genuine love ran incredibly deep throughout both Rebecca and Ryan’s families. And while there was no shortage of hilarious jokes and stories (especially from Ryan’s parents), everything (and ultimately this wedding day), was a direct result of the foundational love and support this couple has rooted in their families.
I hope you enjoy the video, and as you watch their day unfold, get a total sense of that genuine love
